Last updated 5 years ago

Kia Motors America donated $500,000 to the American Red Cross last Friday in an effort to aid in the Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. The hope is to help provide much needed supplies to communities throughout the Eastern Coast of the United States.

“In the aftermath of this historical storm that affected much of the Eastern United States, Kia Motors is committed to providing assistance through the American Red Cross to impacted individuals and communities,” said Byung Mo Ahn, group president and CEO of KMA and Kia Motors Manufacturing Georgia.  “Our thoughts go out to those affected by the hurricane, and we hope that our donation will help provide comfort and aid the recovery effort.”

Funds provided to the American Red Cross help provide food, supplies and comfort to those affected by the disaster.  Kia Motors encourages its employees, dealer network and you to provide additional support.  For more information, on how to donate, please visit
